Analysis and Implementation
How exactly do users experience websites?
I can't remember the last time I used a phonebook. It's almost become second nature - if I need it, I Google it.
Google is great at delivering search results - but what Google doesn't do directly, lies within the scope of User Experience. When I clicked the result, did it load quickly? Can I find what I'm looking for? Do I need to put extra effort into finding what it is that I'm looking for? Will I come back? My knowledge and experience within UX is still growing, and what I do know has been extremely effective where I have been able to apply it.
User experience (UX) focuses on having a deep understanding of users, what they need, what they value, their abilities, and also their limitations.
It's difficult to understand and integrate as a developer, I know what's going on - but the user doesn't. An analysis into this will reveal resolutions to certain experience issues.
